HOLY MACANOLI! That's right!! We went from #4 to #1 in a few short days!! This means that we are #1 on the waiting list for an infant boy referral. This means that at any time our phone might ring and our agency will have information about a little baby that could be matched with us! Could be one week, could be two weeks, who knows?? But it is comin' and SOON!
They'll present us with some information about the baby, photos, medical report, etc. and allow us some time to pray. If we choose to accept the referral, then we keep moving forward, some paperwork, a court date, and then finally a trip to Ethiopia to pick him up and bring him home!! WOW! In a word: WOW!

Oh, Karen, I'm so excited for you and your family! I can't wait to hear about "the call"...we're praying for you and this new little guy that everyone is about to meet. Hold on to your heart so it doesn't leap out of you! :-)

We're SOOOO excited for you! What an amazing thing - to spend some months moving only 1 slot and then to move 3 slots in, basically, a day or so. It's going to happen - anytime. How fun it must be to wake up every single morning and wonder, "Will today be the day?"

HOLY SMOKIES! How in the heck! WOW!!!! I'm soooooo SUPER DUPER excited for you Karen! What incredible news! Things are moving quickly! I remember how shocked I was that our referral came so much sooner than anticipated, and it sounds like it's coming sooner than originally thought for you too! YEAH!
