I'm FREAKING OUT! Today was the call! I was driving in the car home from the park, my kids filthy & hungry, and my cell phone rings. I sift through my purse and it goes to voicemail. I saw it was a 971 # and my heart begins to pound.Plop the kids in the bathtub and call back Julie. She sounds excited.
Me: "Is this THE CALL?"
J: "Yep, it's THE CALL."
Me: "OK HOLD ON I GOTTA SIT DOWN" (amidst complete chaos of bathing children)
J: I have a baby for you named D. He is one month old.
Me: WHAT? ONE MONTH OLD?
J: Yes, and he's adorable and healthy.
Me: WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS?? ONE MONTH OLD?
J: Yes . . . he came to Hannah's Hope when he was only 2 days old!
Me: WHAT? You've had him since he was 2 days old!?
J: Yep, and I held him when I was in Ethiopia and he's big and so precious!
Me: WHAT?!
etc. and the rest was a bunch of blur!! :) Since I cannot post his photo yet, I'll give you a bit of him.
We are in the process of sending the medicals to an international adoption pediatrician for review. And in MUCH prayer. I am SOO THRILLED. Pray with us! I'll share more when I can!

OH MY GOSH! I've been checking everyday to see if you've gotten "the call" and today my heart skipped a beat when I saw that today was the day!! Hurray! Praise the Lord! I will keep praying for your family of FIVE!!

He has been at HH since he was 2 days old! Wow, Praise God!! He has been in really good hand and soon will be in yours!!!

Holy cow - I've been checking, seriously, about every 4 minutes. I knew it would be soon. That is incredible - only 1 month old! I can't WAIT to hear more. What a blessing!

He sounds like a precious little guy and Praise God that he has been at HH so long. You know that he has been well cared for there.
